Le Groupe Maurice chose the city of Saint-Hyacinthe for the construction of Cibèle, its new residential complex for seniors. The complex has already sparked keen interest among the region’s seniors, as evidenced by the nearly 700 people who attended the information session held on June 15.

Cibèle: a highly anticipated project

People gathered in impressive numbers to attend the information session for Cibèle, planned to open in 2024, and hear about its services and advantages. Luc Maurice, Founder and President of Le Groupe Maurice and Louis Desjardins, Director of New Markets and Marketing delighted attendees with a presentation of the various common areas they’ll find at the residence, the inclusions they’ll have access to and even a sneak preview of the apartments.

“We got an incredible amount of positive comments about Cibèle from the local community. They already love the future residence,” says Louis Desjardins. “Nearly 700 people showed up to learn more about Cibèle. It’s an extraordinary start for the project. We’re beginning a wonderful adventure with the community and we’re more than thrilled!” he concludes.

Some of those in attendance even said, “We’re ready to book today!” They’ll definitely be among the first to pre-reserve their units when the rental office opens in fall 2022. That’s when they’ll be able to meet the residence’s team to book their unit, view a model of the development, explore the model bathroom and kitchens and receive any information they need about their future home.

A few weeks before the rental office finally opens, future residents of Cibèle will already be able to pick which apartments they like most using the online floor and unit plans at residencecibele.com.

Steps away from all the conveniences you need

Located on Casavant Blvd. West at the intersection of Laframboise Blvd., the future seniors’ residence will be just steps away from shops and services, a grocery store and the Galeries Saint-Hyacinthe shopping mall.

The bright and spacious apartments, which range from studios to 5½, will feature generous windows, a hallmark of Le Groupe Maurice’s residences. The residence’s vast rest and recreation areas will include several lounges, a dining room with table service and even a virtual multi-sport room. Pool tables, a spa, a swimming pool, bowling lanes and a magnificent rooftop deck will also be available to residents.

As part of Le Groupe Maurice’s ESG commitment, the project aims to obtain LEED Silver certification, a mark of excellence for the development of sustainable buildings.

About Cibèle

The residence is named after Cybele, Phrygian goddess of earth and fertility, in an homage to the Saint-Hyacinthe region’s agricultural landscape. The name also contains the sound of the word belle meaning “beautiful, great, excellent”—like your future retirement at Cibèle!
