On December 14, Le Groupe Maurice celebrated the inauguration of iVVi, its new retirement complex located near the Centropolis in downtown Laval that\u2019s already making an impression on the community.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The residents at iVVi dressed up to the nines to celebrate the occasion. From the cocktails to the dance floor, everything was thought out to leave guests with magical memories in the residence\u2019s enchanting setting. The delicious holiday-inspired dinner prepared by chef Jean and his team was a big success! To close the evening, residents took to the dance floor and enjoyed live music performed by Carter and the Boomers<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the start of this exciting adventure, my team and I have dedicated ourselves to offering residents at iVVi a living environment that they can embrace and identify with. Despite the setbacks and restrictions caused by COVID-19, we are creating more opportunities for sharing and connection, both among residents and within the team, and that\u2019s something I\u2019m very happy about!\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 Benoit Bouchard, General Manager of iVVi<\/p>\n

The event brought together several local elected representatives and personalities from the world of business, including Christine Poirier, city councillor for Duvernay\u2013Pont-Viau and Caroline De\u00a0Guire, CEO of the Laval Chamber of Commerce, who shared their joy and impressions of the inauguration with the residents. Luc Maurice, Founder and President of Le Groupe Maurice, was thrilled to see the residents he so deeply cares about.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe heritage we want to leave behind isn\u2019t buildings, it\u2019s our contribution to ageing well in Quebec and thriving communities. With iVVi, my very humble wish is to contribute to better serving the needs of Laval\u2019s seniors.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Luc Maurice, President of Le Groupe Maurice<\/p>\n

The residence, which opened its doors in October 2020, already has full occupancy. This not only reflects the high-quality accommodations offered in a warm and welcoming setting, it also illustrates that today\u2019s seniors desire to live in an environment that meets their needs while allowing them to pursue their aspirations.<\/p>\n

\u201cLocated right in the middle of downtown, this project by Le Groupe Maurice offers residents easy access to many nearby stores and services. This will generate benefits for the local economy while upholding the principle of sustainable mobility. It aligns nicely with two of the Chamber\u2019s major projects: PROX-Commerce and Symbiose Laval.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 Caroline De\u00a0Guire, CEO of the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/p>\n

Located near St-Martin West and Daniel-Johnson boulevards in downtown Laval, across from the Centropolis commercial complex, iVVi<\/a> offers its residents easy access to many nearby stores and services. The retirement complex has approximately 400 residential units including service apartments (studios to 5\u00bd rooms) and care units. Featuring a modern design and high-end finishes, iVVi\u2019s units are built for comfort and the beauty of bold style.<\/p>\n
