Inspired by the famous novel \u201cThe Great Gatsby\u201d by F.\u00a0Scott Fitzgerald, the anniversary party paid tribute to the glittering 1920s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Feathers, sequins and beads to celebrate<\/h2>\n<p>In a beautifully decorated Art Deco-style residence, Flor\u00e9a residents enjoyed an enchanting evening where no detail was left to chance. Even the residence\u2019s Christmas trees were part of the celebration with their delicate champagne glasses sprinkled with gold as decoration.<\/p>\n<p>The evening kicked off with an elegant cocktail party, not in the secretive atmosphere of a speakeasy, but rather surrounded by greenery, on the walkway overlooking the residence\u2019s interior garden. Live music\u2014jazz, of course\u2014was present to allow us to dive headfirst into this intoxicating Golden Era, a symbol of renewal. The Flor\u00e9a team was delighted to share this celebration with the residents. From flappers in their fringed dresses to gangsters in their fedora hats and vests, the team members orchestrated an evening of fun just like the old days.<\/p>\n<p>During the delicious anniversary dinner, specially prepared by Chef Franck and his crew, residents enjoyed the jazz tunes of the Groovy Little Orchestra. The residents didn\u2019t hesitate to hit the dance floor at the end of the evening to swing like Josephine Baker with some Charleston steps!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe smiles on the faces of the residents were a testament to how much they enjoyed the evening. It was a pleasure to see them having fun and laughing with all the team members, who worked so hard for this anniversary. I feel blessed to be so well surrounded to lead this wonderful residence and hope that these moments of happiness and fun will continue for many years to
