On June 1, the Elogia residence in Montreal inaugurated its impressive new expansion with a complete makeover. The new residents were warmly greeted by the Elogia team and their new neighbours. Longtime residents also wrote touching words of welcome for the new arrivals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marl\u00e8ne B\u00e9land, who has been General Manager of the Elogia residence for the past seven years, eagerly awaited the arrival of the new residents. Her greatest wish? To see friendships develop between old and new residents.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always get really emotional when I remember the joy I felt when they announced the expansion of the residence. I just couldn\u2019t wait for residents, both new and old, to discover the new Elogia and take advantage of what it has to offer. The new Elogia <\/a>is much more than a building rising above Montreal\u2019s cityscape. Along with the expansion, the residence\u2019s existing apartments and common areas were also thoroughly renovated.<\/p>\n

Expanding Elogia\u2019s common areas was a key commitment for Luc Maurice, Founder and President of Le Groupe Maurice, who wanted to offer retirees more opportunities to meet, socialize and form critically important bonds: \u201cWhat I really love is seeing people interact. It\u2019s often said that in order to live a long, healthy and happy life, you need to eat well, be active and have a disciplined lifestyle, but it\u2019s also important to socialize. Since opening in 2007, the Elogia residence has become an integral part of the local community.
