At Le Groupe Maurice, we believe that every milestone deserves to be remembered and highlighted. That\u2019s why a special celebration was held on October 16 for LIZ\u2019s one-year anniversary!<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Chic in the spotlight<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s already been a year since the LIZ residence<\/a> opened its doors! A year in which the team has been doing its utmost to ensure that residents enjoy a fulfilling and comfortable retirement.<\/p>\n

To celebrate this first anniversary in style, the employees rolled out the red carpet for a sublime gold and blue ball<\/strong>! Several members of the management committee, including Chantal Beaulieu and Rita Kataroyan, made a special trip for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The festivities kicked off at 5 p.m. with an elegant cocktail party in the dining room, featuring champagne and delicious appetizers, followed by a heartfelt speech by Olivier Tibika, LIZ\u2019s new General Manager. He thanked all employees and residents for sharing their smiles and joie de vivre<\/em> every day.<\/p>\n

The anniversary dinner, enhanced a violinist and a singer performing a sweet melody, offered guests a gourmet and musical treat. But the highlight of the event was undoubtedly the dance, during which residents and employees alike lit up the dance floor!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A delightful moment<\/h2>\n

Thanks to the residence\u2019s team and their remarkable organization, LIZ residents were able to gather around a good meal, celebrate this one-year anniversary together and look back on the past year. We even collected a few testimonials to share with you:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was one of the lucky ones to move into this beautiful residence in October 2023. From the first day I have been so happy to be here. The facilities are outstanding, the staff go out of their way to help with anything you might need. There is a wonderful feeling of home at LIZ… a feeling of safety and security. My friends and I feel so fortunate to be here.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<\/em>\u00a0Rhody Sadler.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been happily living at LIZ for almost a year now and all my apprehensions about moving to a seniors residence have been laid to rest. I\u2019m enjoying the wide choice of activities offered, making new friends, the freedom to cook my own meals or enjoy the dining room and the ever-smiling staff in this beautiful building. So glad I made this choice.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Mary Perrier.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I like most about LIZ is its location, next to Vend\u00f4me metro station and Sherbrooke Street. Everything is <\/em><\/strong>close at hand<\/em><\/strong>! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We have professional, friendly staff at the residence. You can take part in all kinds of activities and eat in the dining room whenever you don\u2019t feel like cooking. There\u2019s no distinction among the residents; we\u2019re all the same, whether we speak French or English.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We also have a Welcome Committee, which shows new residents around as soon as they arrive. This helps people settle into their new home with ease!\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Marie Vaillancourt.<\/p>\n

A huge thank you to the entire LIZ team for this warm and royal anniversary. We hope that future celebrations will be equally as successful!<\/p>\n
