iVVi’s 1st anniversary celebrated in style

|Laval

On October 7, the residents and team members of the iVVi retirement complex were all dressed up to celebrate the first anniversary of Le Groupe Maurice residence located in Laval.

On October 1, 2020, iVVi opened its doors to local retirees so that they could live a retirement that suits them, within their community. Their happiness, their passion and their well-being are a commitment that Le Groupe Maurice, the employees of the residence and its general manager, Mr. Benoit Bouchard, have been honouring for the past year.

This event is an opportunity for me to thank those who contribute to making iVVi a great place to live. Employees, local partners and, most importantly, residents: without you, iVVi would not be the pleasant and dynamic living environment it is today. We have been learning together for a year now. A year of sharing precious moments with wonderful people. I want you to know that we will be cultivating these small moments of happiness for many years to come!” said Mr. Bouchard.

iVVi: red carpet, limousine… and sweets!

Residents, management and members of the iVVi team gathered, with a drink in hand, to celebrate this noteworthy anniversary and to admire the beautiful limousine that sat in front of the complex for the occasion. A photographer even accompanied the guests so that they could immortalize the moment!

Luc Maurice did not want to miss this great celebration, which was also an opportunity for him to share a few moments with the happy residents. Big smiles, gifts, hugs… The atmosphere was electric during the cocktail. And that was only the beginning!

Accompanied by the tunes of the band Carter & The Boomers, the residents enjoyed a gourmet dinner, specially prepared by the Chef and his brigade. After such a feast, what’s better than a little sweetness! Those with a sweet tooth were delighted by the magnificent four-tiered cake and bags of Mondoux candies generously donated by the owner of the company, while the more energetic ones danced the night away.
