Qi gong is a discipline aiming at mastering the breath, or vital energy (the "qi", pronounced "tchi", "gong" meaning work). The qi is made up of 2 opposite energy currents, yin (cold) and yang (hot), whose balance can be disturbed due to internal dysfunctions and external causes.
