Following the success of the last two editions of Drawing Differently, we are delighted to introduce this year’s new version: Stylized Letters.

Unleash your creativity as you decorate beautifully calligraphed capital letters with elegance, style, and your own personal touch.

No prior artistic experience or special talent is required to participate. Simply come ready to create and have fun!

All materials will be provided by the residence.

A financial advisor for Desjardins will be there every Monday Afternoon to meet with the residents that might need help with their financial services.

With the well-being and financial security of seniors at heart, Desjardins is pleased to offer a unique, participatory workshop.

The goal of this activity is to raise awareness of the main fraud schemes and help you detect, prevent and report situations of financial exploitation.

In a dynamic and engaging approach, the meeting encourages discussion and interaction through games and role-playing scenarios that reflect real-life financial abuse scenarios. At the end of the session, you'll leave with a better understanding of the risks of fraud, and the confidence to avoid them.

The goal is to stimulate memory, encourage self‑expression, and foster interaction among participants while sharing moments of laughter and spontaneity. Suitable for all levels, this activity helps build confidence and offers an enjoyable, engaging artistic experience.

On October 1st, we invite you to take part in a conversation workshop about how older adults are represented in the media and in public spaces. Inspired by the Âges de vivre project, this discussion will explore the images, perceptions and realities of aging that shape our collective view.

In a friendly atmosphere, we will discuss the stereotypes that still exist, the diversity of life journeys and ways to better represent aging. There are no right or wrong answers: the goal is simply to share different points of view and enrich the conversation together.

Freestyle pool. 

The bolas game is a friendly outdoor activity based on skill and precision. Players throw bolas—two small balls connected by a cord—toward a stand made of several horizontal bars. The goal is to wrap the bola around one of the bars to score as many points as possible. Easy to understand and suitable for all ages, the game encourages accuracy while creating a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

Bocce is a precision sport of Italian origin that is easy to learn and accessible to everyone. The objective is to roll your balls as close as possible to the smaller target ball, known as the pallino. Combining strategy, skill, and friendly competition, this activity encourages social interaction, teamwork, and the enjoyment of play in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, come and share an enjoyable time with friends!

This game is played indoors on a grass-like carpet surface, in teams, using softer balls than those used in pétanque.

Pétanque is a friendly game of skill played outdoors on a gravel or sandy surface. Players, in teams, throw metal balls toward a small wooden target ball called the “cochonnet,” aiming to get as close to it as possible. Each throw requires precision and strategy, whether gently placing a ball or shooting to move an opponent’s. Easy to learn and suitable for all ages, pétanque encourages social interaction, relaxation, and a sense of camaraderie. It’s a simple, welcoming activity that brings people together and helps strengthen community bonds.

Bingo is a simple and friendly game where participants have a card filled with numbers. A caller randomly draws numbered balls, and players mark the matching numbers on their cards. The goal is to be the first to complete a line, a column, or a full card depending on the announced rule, then claim victory by calling out “Bingo.” Easy to follow and enjoyable for all ages, this game creates a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
