Canasta
Canasta is a card game originating in Uruguay that is usually played by four players in teams of two, with two decks of cards and jokers. The objective is to score points by creating âcombinationsâ of seven or more cards of the same value (canastas) and discarding cards to get rid of your hand. The game ends when one of the teams reaches a total of 5,000 points, and requires the formation of at least one canasta in order to âgo out.â
