Synopsis:

Following the death of her grandmother, Simone must temporarily live with her uncle Philippe, whom she has never met before. All this while waiting for social services to find her a foster family. Canasta is a card game originating in Uruguay that is usually played by four players in teams of two, with two decks of cards and jokers.
