We chose to live in the Lilo residence because my husband needed a place with access for people with reduced mobility. Even better, Lilo is close to our son’s house. It was a match made in heaven! What we appreciate the most since moving here are all the beautiful new friendships we’ve made, and let’s not forget the great choice of activities available. In fact, I love everything about Lilo: my apartment, the kindness of people, the feeling of being surrounded by friends and having been able to keep my pet.
Heidi Baillargé, resident at Lilo

I chose Lilo because I knew that Le Groupe Maurice had a good reputation. It’s a very well-known company and that made me feel confident about my decision. What I love the most here is living in a community. Also, the services and activities. My quality of life has vastly improved thanks to all the sports I practice and the physiotherapy available to me. Everyone is kind, helpful and animated. There’s a really great atmosphere here!
Jean-Guy Vallée, resident at Lilo

I promised my son that I would decide when it was time to move into a residence. I didn’t want him to be forced to make the decision for me, like I had to do for my mother when she as 90. Lilo was under construction when I felt ready, so it was an easy decision. What I love the most here is my new “family.” Having lost two children and my husband, I needed to feel surrounded, to live in a community. Living here makes me feel safe. It’s very comfortable and there are all sorts of activities. But what I’m proudest of at Lilo is the exceptional staff and happy residents.
Jocelyne Laliberté, resident at Lilo

When I saw the Lilo residence go up, I immediately knew that I would live there one day. I found it really beautiful. Since moving here, we’ve taken part in all sorts of activities. The staff is attentive and everyone is all smiles! We’ve made a lot of friends here. We don’t have to worry about doing upkeep on the house anymore. We feel truly free, in addition to having so much more time for yourselves! We’re lucky to have such a beautiful residence, one that is close to everything. We’re really happy here!

Normandy : FROM WONDERS TO MEMORY
Directed and narrated by Cyril Isy-Schwart
Duration: 1h51 (including intermission)
Available until August 31, 2025
In this captivating documentary, filmmaker Cyril Isy-Schwart reveals the many treasures of his native region: Normandy. From the blooming gardens of Giverny, home to the world of Claude Monet, to the heart of the Middle Ages with the cities of Rouen, Honfleur, and Bayeux, we follow in the footsteps of history through the famous Bayeux Tapestry, depicting the Norman conquest of England by William the Conqueror, and continue along the majestic cliffs of Étretat.
We’ll also explore the breathtaking Château du Champ de Bataille, personally guided by its renowned owner, who unveils a magical Maharaja’s palace, painstakingly reconstructed stone by stone. Along the way, we’ll meet Normans keeping traditional craftsmanship alive — such as the making of Livarot cheese and Calvados brandy.
Normandy is now seen as a true land of remembrance, honoring those who gave their lives for freedom — many of whom fell on June 6, 1944, a date whose 80th anniversary is being commemorated this year.
