The Three Tenors sing Christmas! The legendary concert in Rome in 1990 marked the beginning of the Three Tenors. From then on, Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and José Carreras sang for the most important occasions. In 1999, in the Austrian capital, they performed the most beautiful popular and sacred Christmas carols: “Silent Night,” “The Little Drummer Boy,” “Jingle Bells,” “O Holy Night”... Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes

- Starter: Creamy turkey and wild rice soup

- Choice of: Traditional holiday platter (turkey, meat pie, and meatball stew) or salmon with white wine sauce, candied lemon, and dill.

December 25 at lunch: Christmas breakfast buffet

Open to residents (one regular coupon or meal plan) and visitors (event coupon for $35). Register at the reception desk by December 12

Menu: juice, fruit platters, pastries, toast, jam, cretons, marinades, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans, potatoes, pancakes, and holiday ham!

December 25: Dinner: Residents only (no visitors).

- Starter: Cream of butternut squash soup with gingerbread croutons

- Choice of: Roast turkey with apple and cranberry stuffing or seafood shell (lobster bisque sauce)

- Appetizer: Carrot and fennel soup

- Choice of: Pork tenderloin with orange marmalade and Grand Marnier cranberry sauce or trout with apples, cider beurre blanc, and pink pepper

January 1: Lunch: New Year's Day breakfast buffet

Chair yoga postures are inspired by hatha yoga (traditional form of yoga) and adapted to the chair. 

The sessions include meditation and breathing at the beginning and end of the class and a sequence of postures in the middle.

Created in 1892 at the Mariinsky Theater, it was a resounding success that has never waned: the ballet is one of the most popular in the world. It owes its fame abroad in particular to choreographer George Balanchine, who revisited it in 1954 for his own company, the New York City Ballet. Since then, the NYCB has danced The Nutcracker every December, every year—an unmissable Christmas event!
