The card game 500 is a very popular trick-taking game with trumps, derived from bridge and euchre. The objective is to reach 500 points by winning the bidding and the number of tricks declared, or to push the opposing team to -500 points.

Come play pétanque in the courtyard on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:15 p.m. Outdoor pétanque sessions are led by Jean Pierre De Gagné.

On September 16, we’ll be having a country-themed event!

All residents, including those with meal plans, must register at the front desk to participate in the event so that we can set up tables of 8 people.

Visitors are not permitted. Dinner and dance. Cost: one meal voucher or meal plan.

Once again this year, Groupe Maurice is partnering with the Mauricie National Park Challenge to offer a 4-km (1.5-hour) walk!

The route runs near the Rivière-à-la-pêche lodge.

All costs associated with this event are covered by Groupe Maurice (meals, transportation, registration).

Registration is mandatory, as is the fitness form.

You will receive T-shirts and race bibs at the residence.

• Departure from the residence at 7:00 a.m. by bus.

• Stop at L’Avantage at 7:15 a.m., then on to La Mauricie National Park (approximately 2.5 hours).

• Cold snack: salads, sandwiches, fruit

• Refreshments provided by Le Trou du Diable brewery

• Participating residences: Les Jardins du Campanile, Cibèle, Quartier Mont-Saint Hilaire, Vast, Caléo, L’Avantage, Sevä!

• 20 spots available

• Registration at the front desk starting before June 1

• John, Aurélie, and Mr. Champagne will be on site
