Billard is a great game for everyone. We can see it at The Felix.

Teams were formed during the month of August. It is now time to show your talent and joy of living.

If you wish to form teams, communicate with Dominique, our chief of leasure services.

Who starts their day with a morning coffee? Why not also start with a group of friends? From April, a new activity will appear on the calendar called "Social Café", where all residents are invited to the winter garden for a cup of coffee or tea. It's a time to get together, chat, meet new people, and unwind after the week. The activity will be supported by a group of volunteers, everyone is welcome to join in this social event which will run from 9:30am to 10:30am.

Walking, a simple and accessible physical activity that everyone can practice, it is an excellent base for less active people who want to start a fitness program.

The exercises will be offered twice a week by resident volunteer Jeannette Mercier.

The treatment of Parkinson's disease is based on several factors, particularly the integration of an exercise program. These promote the maintenance of independence and help to maximize the effect of the antiparkinsonian medication, which provides a better quality of life.

The functions and benefits of exercise are huge. In particular, it allows:

• improve muscle flexibility,

• range of motion

• the coordination,

• the balance,

• elocution and dexterity,

• to strengthen the extensor muscles, which among other things help keep the back straight,

• to act on stiffness and postural problems,

• to reduce fatigue,

• promote muscle relaxation and relieve cramps,

• to act on stress, depression, insomnia, constipation.

• Studies also suggest that exercise may slow the progression of Parkinson's disease.

The yoga class is practiced on chair. Yoga is a fantastic way to work on your balance as well as relax.

We finally discover the benefits of coloring! The group meets in the Library.

This activity can be done individually or in groups. The only material needed is a coloring book and colored pencils or felt markers. You choose. In short, the two alternatives provide you with an anti-stress activity.

A vocal ensemble where the Residents have a weekly repetition every Tuesday at 1:15pm. 

A vocal ensemble where the chorists, generally amateurs, sing collectively different musical parts under the direction of a choirmaster, Louis-André Allen. Several concerts are organized throughout the year.
