Come juggle the words during a game of SCRABBLE!
Scrabble is a game of letters where the goal is to accumulate points, based on random draws of letters, by creating words on a square grid, some of which are awarded. The player must seek to make words that yield points; they are not necessarily the longest words, except of course if it is possible to place all his letters ("make a scrabble").

Exercise for Parkinson's
The exercises will be offered twice a week by resident volunteer Jeannette Mercier.
The treatment of Parkinson's disease is based on several factors, particularly the integration of an exercise program. These promote the maintenance of independence and help to maximize the effect of the antiparkinsonian medication, which provides a better quality of life.
The functions and benefits of exercise are huge. In particular, it allows:
improve muscle flexibility,
range of motion
the coordination,
the balance,
elocution and dexterity,
to strengthen the extensor muscles, which among other things help keep the back straight,
to act on stiffness and postural problems,
to reduce fatigue,
promote muscle relaxation and relieve cramps,
to act on stress, depression, insomnia, constipation.
Studies also suggest that exercise may slow the progression of Parkinson's disease.

Meeting with the reception committee and volunteers
WELCOME COMMITTEE
At one time or another, you have all been a new resident at Félix. This could be a big change for some of you. For this reason, I would like to form a welcoming committee at the residence. What would this committee consist of? I am looking for volunteer residents to welcome newcomers. During the meeting, we will decide together to determine what the needs of the new residents are (example: tour of the residence, etc.).
VOLUNTEER MEETING
Are you a volunteer, or would you like to be? During these monthly meetings, we will discuss the needs for the month, for example, table setting needs for the monthly dinner, creation of centerpieces, installation of decorations, special event, etc. If you would like to be part of it, introduce yourself at this meeting. I look forward to seeing you!
A meeting will be held to discuss this with interested volunteers.

Curling
Come try our indoor curling game !!
The indoor curling is a sport in which players slide stones on wheels on a floor towards a target, made up of concentric circles. Two teams, each made up of four players, slide in turn the stones towards the house: a circular target marked on the ground. Each team has eight stones and the goal is to accumulate the highest score of the match; points are awarded for stones that come to rest closest to the center of the house at the end of each round, which ends when both teams throw all their stones. A match may consist of eight or ten innings.
