At first, it was the Groupe Maurice mindset that made us choose Station Est. They can be sophisticated without being pretentious, and offer a secure and free lifestyle. All their activities are optional. Their team members are open-minded and detail-oriented. Why Station Est specifically? Because we live in the East end, in Anjou. But also because we have the option of choosing our apartment during the construction period. In fact, weâll be moving into a residence a few years ahead of schedule.

Our care units are designed for individuals who are semi-autonomous or experiencing minor autonomy loss. We offer tailored daily support from a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals, available around the clock. Our care units also occasionally accommodate convalescent stays.
Optional care services are also offered on an Ă la carte basis to autonomous residents: Medication administration and management, help with support stockings, change of bandages and dressings, vital signs and weight measurement, partial bath, bathing assistance in the apartment or a therapeutic bath…

Toute la famille Lévesque est réunie dans la maison familiale pour le souper de Noël. Un sujet occupe toutes les conversations : l'état avancé de la maladie de Parkinson qui accable le patriarche, dont la qualité de vie a grandement diminué. Au milieu des disputes et des avis divergents, André, son fils ainé, et Sam, son petit-fils, envisagent d'abréger ses souffrances afin de le délivrer et de lui permettre de profiter encore un peu de la vie. De vieux souvenirs d'enfance et l'amour inconditionnel de sa femme viendront agrémenter ses derniers moments.
