The Blue Butterfly in FR (6)
Pete is a young boy suffering from incurable cancer. His dearest wish is to add the blue morpho to his butterfly collection before he dies. His mother tries to convince the famous entomologist Alan Osborne to take her son to the jungle to realize this dream. After some reluctance, Osborne relented. The three characters set off into the rainforest in search of the blue morpho.
Along the way, the protagonists grow closer to each other. A series of adventures reinforce this situation. On the eve of their departure, Pete finally finds the object of his dreams, but decides to let it go, as in his own case. When they return, all traces of Pete's cancer have disappeared.
Inspired by a true story, this film recounts the adventure of entomologist Georges Brossard who, at the request of the Children's Wish Foundation, took David Marenger, a terminally ill young boy, to South America in 1987 to capture a blue morpho.

Pétanque League (11)
The game of pétanque is a boules sport generally played outdoors on a flat surface such as gravel or sand. Players use metal boules, usually steel, weighing between 650 and 800 grams. The aim of the game is to place the balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a "cochonnet" or "bouchon".
The game is played in several stages:
A player throws the jack at a set distance, usually between 6 and 10 meters.
Players or teams then throw their balls, trying to place them as close as possible to the jack.
The player or team whose ball is closest to the jack scores points. They can also score extra points for each additional ball that is closer to the jack than the closest opponent's balls.
The round ends when all the balls have been thrown.
The points are counted and the next round begins again.
Play continues until a player or team reaches a certain number of points set at the start of the game, usually 13 or 15. The game of pétanque requires both precision and strategy, as well as a good sense of balance and coordination. It's often played in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere, but can also be highly competitive at professional level.

The Golden Eggs Game (6)
La poule aux œufs d'Or has finally arrived at L'Initial.
In this game adapted for the residence, participating residents will have the chance to win a few pennies.
Here's how it all works:
1- Participants will have to buy participation coupons. Either $2 for one coupon or $5 for 3 coupons.
2- At the start of each game, your leisure chef will draw 2 coupons from among all those available. The 2 lucky residents will face off in the Door Game.
3- The door game: in turn, each player chooses a square and reveals an amount of money or an egg. The first participant to collect 3 eggs advances to the final round.
4- The final round: The winner of the door game chooses an envelope of his or her choice. The host reveals the amount of money inside. The participant can then choose to pick the egg of his/her choice without knowing the amount inside, or keep the amount in the envelope. If the participant chooses the egg, he or she will win the prize. The amount in the envelope cannot be taken back.
Have fun!
