Duplicate Scrabble is a variation of Scrabble in which all players use exactly the same letters and play on the same board.

Here is how it works:

• Each player plays with their own Scrabble board, but takes turns drawing the seven letters at the end of each round so that everyone uses the same letters to create their word.

• All players search for the best possible play at the same time. A time limit of 2 to 3 minutes is usually allowed.

• At the end of the allotted time, each player records their word and its placement on their own board.

• The selected word is the one that earns the most points among all valid plays. This word is then placed on the common board used by all players.

• A new set of letters is then drawn, and the game continues.
