Climb Aboard a Le Groupe Maurice Scooter for a “Un Vélo, une ville” ride!

For a third consecutive year, Le Groupe Maurice is supporting the Un Vélo, une ville citizens’ initiative, promising a lovely summer for seniors.

Aiming to break their isolation, the project offers seniors free recreational-touristic rides aboard three-wheeled scooters driven by young people in participating municipalities. This intergenerational initiative aims to increase the well-being of seniors while contributing to young people’s success by offering summer jobs and educational grants.

From July 2 to August 23, 2019, independent seniors age 55 and older will be able to discover or rediscover their area aboard one of these scooters on a circuit that takes about an hour to complete.

Is it available in my municipality ?

Several scooters decked out in Le Groupe Maurice’s colours will be available in Ahuntsic-Cartierville (Les Jardins Millen), Repentigny, Lévis, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (La Cité des Tours), Saint-Laurent (Les Verrières du Golf), Gatineau, Laval, Granby (La Croisée de l’Est), Ville-Marie and Rosemère.

Discover the participating municipalities on the Un Vélo, une ville website.

I would love a ride in a three-wheeled scooter! What do I need to do?
