Climb Aboard a Le Groupe Maurice Scooter for a “Un Vélo, une ville” ride!

For a third consecutive year, Le Groupe Maurice is supporting the Un Vélo, une ville citizens’ initiative, promising a lovely summer for seniors.

Aiming to break their isolation, the project offers seniors free recreational-touristic rides aboard three-wheeled scooters driven by young people in participating municipalities. This intergenerational initiative aims to increase the well-being of seniors while contributing to young people’s success by offering summer jobs and educational grants.

From July 2 to August 23, 2019, independent seniors age 55 and older will be able to discover or rediscover their area aboard one of these scooters on a circuit that takes about an hour to complete.

Is it available in my municipality ?

Several scooters decked out in Le Groupe Maurice’s colours will be available in Ahuntsic-Cartierville (Les Jardins Millen), Repentigny, Lévis, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (La Cité des Tours), Saint-Laurent (Les Verrières du Golf), Gatineau, Laval, Granby (La Croisée de l’Est), Ville-Marie and Rosemère.

Discover the participating municipalities on the Un Vélo, une ville website.

Community involvement, at the heart of our values

Le Groupe Maurice has always cared about the happiness of all seniors, whether they live in its residences or not. That’s why we are always looking to encourage organizations, businesses or initiatives that share this value, not only to increase the well-being of seniors, but benefit all of society. And this betterment takes community involvement.

Send us photos of your ride via Facebook Messenger. We will include them in an album: m.me/legroupemaurice.
