Le Groupe Maurice : Focused on evolving

Today, I have the pleasure to share with you the brief New Year’s message I conveyed to Le Groupe Maurice employees.

« Dear colleagues,

2018 marked the 20th anniversary of Le Groupe Maurice. Over the past 20 years, Le Groupe Maurice has grown and evolved. It is not the same organization today that it was 20 years ago. It has changed, and the change has been significant. For me, there’s nothing negative about this change. Quite the opposite: I believe that if you don’t change, you never evolve.

The expectations of our clients—the seniors of today and tomorrow—are also changing in a major way. Meanwhile, our industry—which has not yet reached maturity—is evolving at breakneck speed.

Evolution, from both a personal and organizational standpoint, is crucial for our success. For me, evolution means improving and becoming a better version of myself. Le Groupe Maurice has definitely become a better version of itself! You have also grown tremendously, with passion, joy, pride and professionalism.

A lot may have changed over the years, but deep down, our values and purpose remain the same. After all, this is who we really are: we are both innovative and practical, we want to help people and to feel useful, and above all we want to grow and excel. That is the foundation of our success!

Together, we’ve achieved a lot more than the 30 or so exceptional residential complexes we’ve built for Quebec’s seniors. Together, we’ve created a Quebec brand. A brand is much more than a company name. It is a clear vision that we transform into concrete actions. It represents a distinctive identity and values. And, in our case, it symbolizes excellence and performance. Thank you all!

Thirty years ago, I had a dream: to build a company that would create jobs for Quebecers while contributing to the happiness and well-being of Quebec’s seniors. During the recent Christmas party where all of you—members of management and department heads from all the residences—were gathered for the first time in our history, I realized that the dream that was so important and dear to my heart has evolved into something even bigger and better than I could ever have imagined back when I first started. Today, we do much more than run a company that develops and operates retirement homes. We are helping Quebec’s seniors age better, and that’s something we should be proud of!

It takes a lot of strength to drive our evolution, and that strength resides in you. Without you, my dream would never have become what it is today.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

On behalf of the entire management team, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May we continue to carry out our mission with enthusiasm, dedication and compassion.»

I have visited many residences the past 3 years as I am still in my home -but for me, the LILO RESIDENCE in
L'ile Perrot is by far the most impressive residence that I had the opportunity to visit at their Open House......it
covers every detail of what I am hoping for in my future......

Sincerely,

Mrs. Marilyn Peet ---
Pincourt,Quebec.

Good morning Mrs. Peet, thank you so much! We are delighted you loved the beautiful LILO. We hope to see you there very soon ! Have a nice day.
